Dylan Weber, DMD, At-Large Trustee

Dylan Weber, DDS, Massachusetts Dental Society At-Large Trustee. After a move from Kansas City to Massachusetts, Dylan Weber, DDS, wanted to continue his involvement with organized dentistry. Dr. Weber joined the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), initially serving on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force and as a Boston District Dental Society member. He then became an MDS guest board member and was selected for the At-large Trustee position. Dr. Weber’s involvement in organized dentistry began long before joining the MDS. In his college years at the University of Missouri School of Dentistry, he was a member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA). He also served on the Board of Trustees for the student organization. These experiences have given him a genuine appreciation for the benefits of organized dentistry.

Dr. Weber always knew he wanted to work in the healthcare profession. As a sophomore in college, he attended a medical service trip to Honduras. While on that trip, he was introduced to dentistry by assisting at a dental triage clinic. That experience helped him see, first-hand, the immediate and daily impact dentists have on their patients’ lives and overall health. This introduction also set him on the professional path to his current position as a general dentist in Attleboro, MA.

Reflecting on his career, Dr. Weber remembers a vital piece of advice a colleague, Dr. Grace Eichler, once told him—start taking care of yourself now, so you can continue taking care of your patients. Knowing that creating time for yourself is essential, Dr. Weber spends his spare time exercising and with family. Also, as an avid Sex and the City fan, he appreciates the insightful Carrie Bradshaw quote, “The most exciting, challenging, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love you that you love, well, that is just fabulous.”
