MDS Leadership Academy

Think and Act Like a Leader

The MDS Leadership Academy is an MDS member-exclusive, five-session hybrid program designed to help dental professionals develop and sharpen their leadership skills and help advance their careers.

As professionals, we are all expected to be effective leaders, but where do we learn those skills? It was most likely not included in your dental school curriculum. Many dental professionals need to acquire those skills, but you are often put in roles without a full leadership tool kit. The Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) recognizes this challenge and wants to help you succeed in your leadership position.

This hybrid program is $299, which includes a 3 hour leadership session at the 2024 Yankee Dental Congress, Yankee Dental Congress Registration (valued at $139), three virtual sessions, plus a Leadership Roundtable dinner.

Each participant will receive 9 CEUs upon completion of the program.

Schedule

The MDS Leadership Academy starts at the 2024 Yankee Dental Congress and ends with a Leadership Roundtable and dinner in June. You will meet with industry experts on the first Wednesday of March, April, and May to focus key leadership skills and conclude on June 5 with the Roundtable and dinner.

The program covers critical topics, including communication, strategic planning and execution, maximizing hygiene revenue, shifting from colleague to manager, and more.
