Labor Law Poster

State and federal employment laws/regulations require all employers, including dental practices with at least one employee, to post current federal and state employment law notices at each of their locations. These posters must be placed in an area frequented daily by all employees and must be kept up-to-date. Keeping up-to-date with the most current requirements can be an overwhelming task and can pose significant legal consequences if not done correctly and in a timely manner.

NEW: Mandatory Changes Made to MA Wage and Hour Laws Poster

The Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General has made a mandatory change to the state's Wage and Hour Laws posting.

The posting more prominently displays the 2017 minimum wage of $11 per hour and hourly service rate of $3.75. In addition, information about the state's minimum wage and overtime laws has been reworded and the poster now includes information about:

  • Reporting pay
  • Rights of temporary workers
  • Rights of domestic workers
  • Public works and public construction workers
  • Domestic violence leave

Employers must display a notice that includes both the minimum wage and other provisions of minimum wage law and regulations as required by the state. Because information has been added, a new poster is required.

The Massachusetts Employment Law poster from J.J. Keller & Associates, Inc., will be updated with the revised posting.

NOTE: If you have subscribed to the Update Service for Massachusetts, you will automatically receive the new version of the poster.
