Micheline Moini, DMD, MBA, Massachusetts Dental Society Guest Board Member. Growing up, Dr. Micheline Moini loved anything about Harry Potter—books, movies, etc. She also knew at an early age that one day she would become a dentist. Raised in a "dental family," she headed to Tufts School of Dental Medicine to earn her doctorate of medicine in dentistry (DMD). Upon graduation, Dr. Moini became a general dentist and now practices in the Boston area. What she enjoys most about her career is "the incredible impact a healthy smile can have on a person's overall well-being and confidence. I love seeing my patients' transformation and the positive changes in their lives. It is truly remarkable."

A Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) Board of Trustees Guest Board Member, Dr. Moini, first learned about the organization through MDS email communications and colleagues who were members. One significant benefit of an MDS membership is the continuing education opportunities available. Early in her career, she was advised to "prioritize continuous learning and stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry." Being a part of the MDS makes implementing that advice easy, and it has positively impacted her career, "Embracing new techniques and technologies allows me to provide the best possible care for my patients and ensures that I can deliver optimal outcomes," she shared.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Moini enjoys leading an active lifestyle, cooking, and spending time with family. Steve Jobs is at the top of her wish list of people to meet. If given the opportunity, trading places with him for a day would have been an experience. "His ideas changed the world, and it would have been fascinating to understand how his mind worked," she said.
