Do you have a patient threatening you?
Do you have a patient complaining about another Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) Dentist?
Have you heard of the MDS Peer Review Program? It is MDS Dentists helping MDS Dentists resolve Patient Problems.
We all have patients who, despite our best efforts, are unhappy with their experience. The disgruntled patient is left with the options of 1) Seeing another dentist, 2) Filing a BORID complaint, 3) Consulting an attorney—Yikes!
STOP THAT from happening! REFER THEM to the MDS Peer Review Program.
Here’s How: Give them information on the Peer Review Process.
A district mediator will be assigned to try to resolve the dispute between the patient and the dentist.
Together, we thrive—we can serve each other by referring threatening patients to the MDS Peer Review Program instead of BORID or consulting an attorney, and help create a better resolution for everyone.
Review the process here before you need it.
If you have questions about Peer Review, email MDS District & Management Service Coordinator Sarah Pilling, or call her at 800.342.8747, ext. 212.
