How Does the HOD Work

voting at the MDS House of Delegates

The Massachusetts Dental Society’s governing body, the House of Delegates (HOD), meets annually to represent the views and interests of its members. The MDS HOD is comprised of the Board of Trustees (BOT), three immediate past presidents (not currently on the BOT), and delegates elected by each District Dental Society and Massachusetts dental school.

The 2026 Annual Session of the House of Delegates will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Westborough, MA. All members are welcome to attend as guest observers. Registration in advance is necessary. Register for the June 18 House of Delegates Meeting

New this year, the MDS is hosting a House of Delegates Virtual Forum on Monday, June 8, at 7:00 pm on Zoom to learn more about this year’s resolutions and hear from candidates for elective offices. This informative session is especially encouraged for all district delegates and alternate delegates to the MDS House, but all MDS members are welcome to attend.  Register for the June 8 Forum
