The Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) has named ten dentists as its 2026 10 Under Ten award winners.

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Yankee Dental Congress, five American Student Dental Association (ASDA) District 1 Dental Schools, plus one pre-dental team, faced off in the 17th Annual Student Debate.

The Massachusetts Dental Society recently voiced its opposition to proposed language updates from the Board of Registration in Dentistry regarding the reciprocal licensure law. This law will allow foreign-trained dentists to practice oral hygiene in Massachusetts.

The Fall 2025 Journal of the Massachusetts Dental Society is hot off the presses. In this issue, the “Diversity and Inclusion in the Dental Field” article examines the systemic challenges faced by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients in the U.S. dental education system.

The MDS Foundation Mission of Mercy held on November 15, 2025, provided dental care valued at over $215,000 to more than 220 patients. Thank you to the over 300 volunteers, community partners, and corporate sponsors who made the clinic possible.
