Increasing Access to Care
The MDS Foundation works to increase access to care for Massachusetts residents and raise awareness about oral health topics. The Foundation is the charitable arm of the Massachusetts Dental Society and is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
Silent Auction Raises Thousands

Apply for Access to Care Grant
The MDS Foundation opened the grant cycle for Access to Care grants. These grants help larger facilities directly address access to care needs in the Commonwealth. The application deadline is March 31, 2026. Apply now.
Foundation Targeted Grants
The MDS Foundation offers $2,000 Targeted Grants on a rotating basis throughout the year. Targeted Grants provide funding to organizations or programs that want to increase access to dental care on a smaller scale.
MDS Foundation Mission of Mercy
A no-cost dental clinic held on November 15, 2025, at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, which donated more than $200,000 in oral health care to underserved and underinsured adults.
