Age One Campaign Honored
“Have One, By One,” the television commercial produced by the MDS in 2013 as part of a statewide awareness campaign to educate the public on the importance of first dental visits by the age of one, was recently honored with a 2014 Telly Award. This national award recognizes outstanding achievement in TV commercials, video, and film productions. Nearly 12,000 entries were submitted from all 50 states, as well as many countries, and judged by hundreds of leading industry professionals. Earlier this year, the TV spot also won a Gold Award (First Place) in the 2014 Lamplighter Awards competition, sponsored by the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo).

2014 TV Campaigns
The MDS is launching a new statewide television campaign this spring called “Remember When” to coincide with the Society’s 150th anniversary in 2014.
Two 30-second commercials have been produced, highlighting how MDS members have cared for generations of families since 1864. The seven-week campaign is being broadcast in the Boston market on WBZ-TV, WSBK-TV, WCVB-TV, ECVB-TV, WHDH-TV, WLVI-TV, WFXT-TV, and WBIN-TV. The campaign is also airing on New England Cable News (NECN) and WWLP-TV in Springfield, which donated the cost of the production.
