How We Can Help You Succeed
The use of an amalgam separator, such as the NXT Hg5 Amalgam Separator, is required by state and federal (since July 2017) regulations and provides an all-in-one solution for recycling and certifications. The NXT Hg5 collection container should be replaced yearly or when the sedimentation level reaches the full line (whichever comes first), then simply order a new container. Our collection containers come with shipping and recycling along with documentation of certification online 24/7 at www.solmetex.com.
In addition to the recycling and handling of wet amalgam waste through an amalgam separator, it is now also required that dry amalgam waste is also recycled properly. The Solmetex Practice Waste Solution amalgam bucket provides for the recycling of all items that come in contact with amalgam (teeth with amalgam; amalgam capsule, vacuum filters, chair-side traps; contact & non-contact amalgam). All our products have a mail-back recycling program included in the price of the item, keeping the control in your hands.
