Fenway Fall Lecture Series
All courses will be hosted at the Fenway Community Health Center, 1340 Boylston Street Boston. Refreshments will be served from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. on the 9th floor and the lecture will begin at 6 p.m. in the 10th floor auditorium. Each lecture is worth 1 CEU.
Members $35 per lecture, Non-Member $55 per lecture.
Dr. Jeff Li, DMD, MS October 6, 2016
Dr. Li is from Toronto, Ontario and graduated from the University of Western
Ontario with an Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. He then received
his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with Clinical Honors from the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2012. Dr. Li went on to earn his
Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Michigan in 2015, and
completed a Master's Degree for his work on the effects of a locally-delivered
antibiotic on mild peri-implant inflammation. Throughout his post-graduate
training, Dr. Li was awarded the School of Dentistry Distinguished Periodontics
Graduate Student Fellowship, the Ben Duff Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in
Periodontics, and the Sigurd P. Ramford Award for Excellence. Dr. Li is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (AAP), and recently was
awarded their Annual Meeting Scholarship. He currently maintains active
membership in the AAP, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the
Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS). His practice is focused on Esthetic
Periodontal Surgery, Implantology and Advanced Regeneration. He is also a
lecturer at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Robert Faiella, DMD, MMSc November 3, 2016
Dr. Faiella is a past-president of the American Dental Association. Dr. Faiella
received his pre-doctoral education from Villanova University, earning two
Bachelor of Science degrees, and his D.M.D. degree from Fairleigh Dickenson
University School of Dental Medicine. He received his graduate training in
Periodontology as an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard School of Dental
Medicine, as well as a Masters of Medical Science degree from Harvard Medical
School. During this time, he served five years as a Research Fellow with the
Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is
currently a candidate for Masters in Business Administration at the MIT Sloan
School of Management, EMBA Class of 2017.
Dr.Faiella is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow
of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the
Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American Academy of Dental Science, and the
International Team for Implantology (ITI).Dr. Faiella has received the
Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and has
been invited to deliver the Commencement Address to seven Schools of Dental
Medicine over the past eight years. He has served on numerous councils and
committees on the national, constituent, and component levels. He is also a
Past-President of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and former ADA First
