History of the MDS
The Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) is a dynamic non-profit health care organization that is dedicated to promoting and advancing the art and science of dentistry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The staff of the MDS conducts the administration and business affairs of the organization, working side-by-side with the Society's volunteers to further the goals of organized dentistry. Projects and initiatives include governmental advocacy, membership services, convention planning, continuing education, MDS Foundation (including the Mobile Access to Care Van), MDS Insurance Services, and a variety of professional and consumer publications.
